Triticale is a hybrid of rye and wheat that was developed in the 19th century. In this saison, we used a large portion of triticale from Skagit Valley Malting, with additions of vienna malt and flaked rye. It was hopped conservatively with sapphire and brewers gold and fermented with one of our favorite house saison strains.
