I had this beer on-tap in a mug at Special Brews in Lynnwood, WA.
Appearance: light straw hue with just a tiny little bit of haze and a thin head of white foam with no lace. Not too bad.
Smell: a little funk and a little sour, with just a dash of sweetness. Nothing complex, but no flaws. Well-made.
Taste: a low level of sourness evokes an almost lemony character. There's also a tiny bit of funk, just enough to add something interesting, and a bit of sweetness that makes the whole effect rather candylike. I really like it.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a big carbonation and a really big creaminess that I quite enjoy. Really, really good.
Overall: I enjoy this beer a great deal. It's a slightly sour candylike treat; definitely something to seek out. Holy Mountain strikes again!
