16oz can

Pours three massive fingers of white head into my Willi. Retention is great, and after 5 minutes there is still an island of head. Lacing is ok - somewhat soapy. Body is a cloudy orange. Kinda all over the place, but it looks pretty good.

Nose is citrus rind up front, followed by some herbal, spicy hops; not quite dank, but heading in that direction. Opens up with some nice mango over time. Not a big fan of citrus rind, but this smells pretty good.

Flavor has a surprisingly noticeable herbal presence. Some lighter fruit in the background, clementine, nothing rind-like. Relatively tame and underwhelming until the beer warms and flavors start to get unhinged.

Body is medium. Somewhat under carbonated. Not grossly sweet, but certainly has a way of drying out the mouth, I assume from some sugars. Bitterness is medium-low. Overall the mouthfeel leaves a little to be desired.

Drinkability is ok, but the sweetness slows me down.

Overall it does some nice things, the clementine is refreshing and delicate, the herbal hops add something that’s slightly off the normal path. That said, it’s lacking in overall flavor until it warms, the carbonation is pretty low, and it’s a little cloying. A little too rough around the edges to be better than alright.

16oz can served in a can-shaped pint glass. Bought it at the Bine three days ago. Date on the bottom of the can is "DIDDLER ON THE ROOF." Thanks a lot, Holy Mountain, very helpful. I'll just assume this is fresh AF.

Pours a hazy tan-amber with a pretty big head that collapses slowly and leaves a lot of clumps and mounds. Smell is very tropical, lots of low-ripeness mango and papaya, orange and pith.

Taste is similar in composition, except for a strong bitterness that comes across as fruit skin and citrus pith.

Mouthfeel is a little thin, but not problematically so. Overall, very nice.
