Offertory: Carménère is a blended mixed fermentation ale aged on grape pomace. Offertory is an offshoot of our "Sacrament" series, in which a blended barrel-fermented base beer is transferred directly onto spent grape pomace once Sacrament is transferred out. This version is a blend of two separate mixed culture Saisons that were fermented and aged in oak. After a 24 hr contact time on the Carménère pomace, the beer was bottled conditioned with an expressive wine yeast.

Cloudy ruby reddish golden hued body. Medium lactic acidity, a bit of grainy sweetness, lemon acetic acidity. Perhaps a slight touch of grape skin, otherwise a fairly acetic AWA. Medium lighter bodied. Good carbonation. Fairly heavy lactic acidity at end.
