Fresh Hop Double India Pale Ale
We are insanely excited to offer you our final hoppy beer of the hop harvest season FRESH HOP Astral Projection.
Made possible from the beautiful and fresh Mosaic provided by our friends Roy Farms_hops, this version of Astral turned out extremely tropical and dank with that beautiful melon-y freshly picked aroma and flavor. Dry-hopped at the end of fermentation for further depth, this beer literally jumps out of the glass to take you on a lupalin out of body experience.
Thank you for your support with these special, truly seasonal beers. They are a lot of work, but we hope you love and enjoy drinking them as much as we do.

Canned on 10/6/22; consumed on 10/17/22
Pours a foggy burnt bronze-orange body capped with multiple fingers of fluffy, off-white foam; good head retention yields a slight yet chunky few islands of cap, a large, frothy collar, and an ample display of chunky, webby lacing strewn along the walls of the glass.
Aromas waft freshly composted grass into catty cantaloupe, while hints of papaya cut with sweetness and bready malt is imbued across the bouquet; bountiful resins on the back end trend to subtle pineapple and glossy tropical edges.
Taste opens to mango skins into fresh grass intertwined with flaky malt character, with residual, underripe pineapple over the mid-palate contrasted by sweeter resins and a prickly dank on the back end; pink grapefruit then offers a zesty foil to dry moss on the finish.
Mouthfeel brings a deft, medium body alongside a rounded, moderate carbonation, imparting creamy subtext through a flaky mid-palate coated in resins; a juicy twang is delicate across the back end, leaving a tinge of pseudo-bitterness phasing through the finish; a comprehensive construction of myriad hop sensation.
Ripe earth transposed across sweet resins in a silky masterclass of viscerally fresh hop expression; a seamless integration of earthiness juxtaposing the lush and established NEIPA saturation.
