16oz pour at Chuck's Hop Shop Seward Park, served in a Ball-jar shaped glass with a handle.
Pours clear, burnished gold, a finger of dense creamy head. Lots of fine carbonation. Smell is lager yeast, doughy. Hint of mustiness.
Taste is rich, grainy, kick of rye spice leaning into a muted earthy hop bitterness, nicely balanced grain sweetness.
Mouthfeel is light, crisp, prickly with effervescence. Overall, really nice.
