16oz can served in a big snifter. Can is dated "TOURNIQUET WEASEL," which is utterly useless and once again damn you Holy Mountain for using stamping equipment for pointless jokes in lieu of useful information.
Pours clear bright burnished gold with a medium to small head, very fine carbonation. Smell is really nice -- citrus blossoms, orange zest, lemon rind, honeysuckle.
Taste is following along with the aroma, fairly sweet up front but a very strong bitterness and piney resinousness seeps into the flavor slowly and balances it out.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and dry with a resin texture coating the mouth and causing a little cottonmouth. Overall, a very nice IPA.
