Growler from the brewery, again thanks to rudzud.
Very small head, hazy blonde color, touch of lacing.
Nose nice saison farmhouse yeast funk, grainy doughy farmhouse funk, with lemony grassy aromas, lemon cereal and grainy, floral.
Taste sweet lemony candy cereal, saison farmhouse funky yeast with grainy grassy doughy malt, wheat in there, grist, etc. Nice citrus hops, little lemony and fruity, little pith and rind, grassy floral hops too. Fair bitterness, fruity Amarillo holds start to come through more. Finish dry, nice grassy floral slight citrus and lemon hops, with little grainy malt, wheat, etc.
Mouth is med bod, decent But lighter carb.
Overall not bad, nice farmhouse yeast funk, decent hops, nice blend of flavors, but not phenomenal. At least this is a nice enjoyable beer from them, much better than the experimental pale and worlds better than the screwed up Brett Blond.

Enjoyed at the brewery
A - Poured a hazy straw hue with a thin one finger head that fades to leave a nice halo and a good little cloud. Solid.
S - Aromas of light Belgian yeast, solid funk, and then WHAM, tropical hops, pineapple, passion fruit, citrus zest (primarily clementine)...what is this...wow. The nose...Citra and Amarillo...holy cow. Could keep inhaling this one happily.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, more awesome farmhouse yeast, and a delicious amount of hops that simply assault the pallet. Wonderful pineapple and passion fruit with really nice orange/clementine zest to back it up. The taste is just delicious, a fun balance of farmhouse notes and aggressive hops. Wow. It never really gets bitter either; the farmhouse yeast keeps that bitterness rather restrained
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, clean, alcohol hidden well, this is really drinkable.
O - Overall this beer floored me. Was not necessarily expecting it to work but man did this shock. Really aromatic and tasty...this, this is a winner. To steal a quote that a Mr. John Duffy loves to use..."I would buy a candle of this"
