Nucleated Tulip
Look: Hazy slightly dark orange, pouring a 1 finger head which dissipated into a thin ring with light sheeting
Smell: very funky, some honey as well. Very light berry notes. Some wheat malt as well
Taste: palate matches the smell. Yeast funk and honey at first followed by light sour note and some berries and doughy wheat malt. Finish is very citrusy and has a berry explosion
Feel: light-moderate mouthfeel, gentle carbonation
Overall: Its a good sour. Smell is off-putting, and mouthfeel isn't perfect but it taste and looks alright. Very interesting to say the least

Tastes of tart lemon citrus right up front, then lingonberry and honey followed by malt and plenty of salt. Nice medium mouthfeel. This one turned out to be very nice and I was pleasantly surprised.

Pours a hazy red-orange color with a medium top off white head that dissolves quickly.
Aroma is off lingonberries, honey, bread and citrus. The taste is sour with fruity notes of berries and citrus and some sweet honey notes that is nicely ballanced with salty notes.
Smooth and crisp mouthfeel with a medium carbonation and a medium body. It really has some strange flavour combinations, but it works really well.
A well tasting and easy driking gose.

It pours a cloudy, carrot orange body with a tiny amount of floaties. Small white head with some lacing.

It has an aroma of lingonberries and lemon, with notes of honey.

The taste has lemon, salt, wheat and lingonberries. The mouthfeel is light bodied, dry, crisp and sour, with high carbonation and little bitterness. The aftertaste is sour and wheaty.

A refreshing gose.

My first from Pohjala and it is good to know that the crafters have now spread to almost every corner of the world... and many seem to know what they are doing.

I do not agree with these low ratings. This is a very distinctive beer in a challenging style. (Or at least that is my explanation for the ratings.)

Torm Looks interesting, like a pinkish gose and Smells like one, too.
I do not get the sweet of the lingonberries until just before I swallow. And that timing is good to counteract the tartness of gose which is heightened by the added wheat and whatever else has been malted. In the mouth, the ligonberry sweet is necessary.

Good. Underrated. But one and done.

Look: It pours a dark pink color with a white head that has low head retention.

Smell: It has a berry and flowery aroma. There is also a acidic quality in the aroma which can't be placed. In the background it has a tart, pink grapefruit like quality.

Taste: The berry flavor give it an initial sweet impression that quickly becomes a sweet and sour mix. The flowery presence is also well represented in the background. It is grainy in the finish.

Feel: It has a moderately light body inspire of the alcohol presence. The finish is on the tart and dry side.

Overall, this isn't like any goes that I've had, but the flavors work together and the overall presentation is unique.

L: Poured from a bottle to a snifter glass. Had a reddish-orange color (unusual for the style) and a cloudy consistency. There was a small amount of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Not a whole lot of lacing.

S: An interesting aroma of honey, salt, wheat, and some other berries.

T: Tasted of a bit of wheat (not overly noticeable), a whole lot of salt (more than in most goses), a good shot of honey, some lingonberries, and an herbal quality (presumably the heather tips). One of the more unusual gose flavors I've tried. Sweet, tart, juicy, kind of odd (in a good way), and unusually powerful.

F: A fair amount of carbonation with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.

O: No, this isn't your typical gose, but that's a good thing. Worth a look if you want something different.

Cloudy pinkish/apricot colored pour with white head. Nice tart tropical aroma with a hint of honey. Taste follows the nose with a tart (and salty) tropical flavor. Very juicy.
