A full bodied malty beer with hints of roasted barley flavor and a deep red color. Made with Pacific Northwest malted barley and dry hopped with whole leaf hops.

This is a fairly basic, perhaps just slightly sweet, but good and enjoyable malty red ale.
It is red amber with small foamy white head soon thinning to ring and wisps.
Aroma is simple earthy maltiness with slight roasty quality.
Taste is malty sweetness with caramelised barley, light roastiness that comes on more towards the finish as it becomes a little drier, too. The sweetness is somewhat balanced with faint bitterness and the fact that it becomes drier and more roasty towards the finish. It also goes well the BBQ food that completely dominates the menu. It's not special or outstanding, but it's a good, solid red ale that goes well with the food and which I'd definitely consider getting again if I return.
Feel is fairly full.
