A small dry hop addition of Horizon hops gives this American Brown Ale a subtle floral note to round out the delicious roasted, nutty malt backbone. It pours reddish brown in color with a tan head and boasts enticing aromas of toffee and caramel.

Good Brown Ale. Good flavor and appearance from a style that often produces dull examples!!! Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer features a medium density brown color with lots of reddish highlights. When held to a light, the entire glass becomes a bright, beautiful reddish brown. The foamy light tan head is large with good retention. Lots of foamy and filmy lacing on the glass. A good-looking beer!!!! Aroma and taste include a lot of rich bready and nutty malt with hints of toffee and caramel. Good, pronounced flavor. Mouthfeel is rich and smooth with a hint of bitterness to keep it interesting. I had it with a corned beef dinner and enjoyed it very much.

Great brown in a style that's easy to be boring. Lots of dry cocoa (especially in the aroma) and caramel bread crust up front, then a spicy hop finish. Very fun beer.
