Whisper Scream is a Nordic Farmhouse IPA brewed with a grip of spelt & oats and excessively hopped with Rakau, Waimea & Mosaic. Then it's fermented using a traditional Scandinavian farmhouse yeast at absurdly high temperatures so the bright, citrus & tropical fruit from the hops mashes up with orange peel and a hint of spice from the yeast for a unique old-world take on the new-world IPA.

Canned on 01-11-21.
Pale yellow, densely opaque with oat fluff with a low white head and a few spatters of lace.
Big sweet, citrus aroma, sharp crushed tangerine and pineapple notes mix with rich sugary malt.
The flavor is one note for me - grapefruit.
Acidic and nearly sour character is saved by the body and tongue weight from the unique malt varieties and oats.
Great aroma, good body and heft but lacks complexity and grain/malt flavors and finished dry and over bitter.

Drekker Whisper Scream IPA, 6.7% ABV. Pours bright hazy yellow with a two-finger white head that left some spotty lacing. Nose is citrus. Taste is orange and pineapple, some sweetness with a slight piney bitter close. Decent mouthfeel, overall excellent.

L: Poured from a growler to a pint glass. Had a pale yellow color and an extremely hazy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Below average lacing.
S: An interesting and subtle aroma of citrus fruit, hops, tropical fruit, and malt.
T: Tasted of a decent amount of tropical fruit (papaya, in particular), light malt (mostly in the finish), a moderate amount of hops (not overdone, though), an earthy quality, and some citrus fruit (orange, especially). This is a well-balanced, sweet, and subtle flavor. It's not as fruity as I expected, but it still manages to work.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a dry, smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solidly made IPA. Worth a look.

Can. White head. Hazy sunset orange.
A little bitter. Earthy and green. Floral. Some juicy notes and tropical flavors mixed in. Seems like a cross between ipa and NE ipa. Ends a bit sticky and bitter.
