Loki Is My Homeboy is the second in a series of Lactose Double IPAs. Brewed with loads of milk sugar and CTZ, El Dorado, Mosaic & Amarillo hops, it's got a juicy, fruity, citrusy hop character and then a slightly sweet, creamy finish.

16 oz can from Tavour. Pale yellow, milky body, slight foamy head. Tropical fruit aroma, melon, milk sugar. Taste is sweet with tropical flavors backed by a sticky bitterness. Rich and full.

Gotta say wasn’t impressed with the looks of it in my teku...soapy bubbles and an almost greenish hue in the straw yellow. But WHOA—-whatta taste!! Coconut cream shot through with hints of pineapple! Man, if only I’d known, I only bought one can, wish I had 12 haha!! Super amazingly delicious with a fresh kick I haven’t gotten in a while with an unknown brew. Loki is now my homeboy too.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellowish color and a very cloudy consistency. There was an inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of hops, tropical fruit, malt, lactose, and citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a bit of lactose (not enough to be obnoxious), a good shot of citrus fruit (orange and grapefruit in particular), a little malt (mostly in the finish), a decent amount of hops (not overdone, though), and a lot of tropical fruit (pineapple). A sweet and fruity flavor. Definitely fruitier than most DIPAs, but it's still quite well-balanced.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth and creamy finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A thoroughly enjoyable beer. Drinkable.

Drekker Loki Is My Homeboy Lactose Double IPA, 8% ABV. Pours bright hazy yellow with a half-finger white head that left decent lacing. Nose is pine and orange, taste follows plus sweet lactose, light bitterness. Mouthfeel is smooth. Overall outstanding.

An almost neon yellow-meets-mustard yellow body, has this weird electric glow to it, very saturated, like a hi-liter. Tall creamy head of 3 fingers, receding to 1 finger, leaving lots of broken splotchy lace on the glass.
Aroma is of general citrus and soap, some green herbs and a touch of catnip.
Flavor is...spit-worthy. Orange GoJo soap, grass stains, chunky milk, lime zest. I rinse my mouth, wait, and sip again. Same lineup. Nothing else. I don't have time for this.
Feel is creamy, a little acidic, with a moderate alcohol heat, who cares.
Overall, awful. Just sat back down from pouring it into the kitchen sink. This was my worst Drekker experience yet, though sadly not far behind the other three. This was one of the most awful IPAs I've ever had, period.
