This sour, 7.1% ABV IPA is brewed with 2-row barley, oats, spelt, and lactose, and then hopped with Magnum, Mosaic, Huell Melon, and Hallertau Blanc. Yeast employed is Lactobacillus culture and house IPA yeast.
The tart, sour character really brings out the fruity notes in the hops for a bright citrus flavor that’s balanced by the soft, creamy body from the oats and lactose.

My first beer from North Dakota. A real winner. Pours a very hazy dark straw yellow color from a colorfully decorated pint can into a pint glass. Medium size white head with some lacing and average retention. The brewery calls this a sour IPA, but Beer Advocate has it right as an American Wild Ale. The aroma and taste are bitter, but strictly from the grapefruit juice, not hops. The Brett sourness is the strongest element in the aroma, but mostly in the taste. Very enjoyable mix of brett and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is rich and. Complex with bitterness and sour. I was shocked to see 7.1 ABC. Drinks s lot lighter than that. A great beer.

Drekker Mind Bullets Sour IPA, 7.1% ABV. Pours hazy orangish yellow with a middle-finger of white head that left no lacing. Nose is citrus and pine. Taste is orange, slight pine, lemon, with moderate sweetness, slight tartness, and no perceivable bitterness. Decent mouthfeel, overall excellent to outstanding.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on August 16, 2019. Brewed with oats, spelt and lactose sugar. Hopped with Mosaic, Huell Melon and Hallertau Blanc hops. The tart sour character blends perfectly while also enhancing the soft fruity notes of the hops.

This beer pours a mostly clear gold with a solid head. The aroma features notes of sour orange, chalky minerality, an a vague floral quality. The flavor starts with berry tones of freeze did blueberries and raspberries, followed by watermelon, white flowers, and white peach. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with abundant, large bubbly carbonation. Overall a really nice beer, with plenty of pleasing flavors - though as a sour IPA, it really lacks any IPA qualities - however, as an American Wild Ale, quite tasty.

L: hazy yellow under a 1/2" blanket of cream colored foam with poor to fair retention. Streams of bubbles continually rise to the top
S: big fruit aromas, especially citrus, lemon, and tangerine with some lactose, tart and traces of pie crust.
T: Bright, crisp citrus dominates the flavors supported by oats, biscuit, cookie, lemons, pineapple, orange, a hint of pear, a trace of lime, and apple
F: body is medium light, the carbonation medium high, the tartness medium plus and the sweetness medium minus
O: very refreshing, delightfully creamy beer that works well.

Catching up on some notes, thanks for the beer Dave.
Hazy pour from the can. Tart lactic, acetic, somewhat bucolic with little to no ipa in there. This was a drain pour for three of us.

Poured from 16oz can into glass. No dating information found.
Cloudy, straw colored body. One finger white head quickly dissipates to islands and ring fed by bubbles. A few tiny spots of lacing left behind.
Aroma has hints of lemon, citrus hops, and lactose.
Taste is that of a sour IPA, with lactobacillus yeast and citrus/floral hops. Also has lemon like tartness and a touch of lactose sweetness.
Medium mouth feel, with good carbonation. A little bit of tart dryness at the end of the taste profile.
Kind of like IPA lemonade.
