Poured from 16oz can into glass. No canning date information found, but the beer was released on October 16th, 2018.
Murky gold colored body. Half a finger of white head settles back to creamy cap. Leaves behind some webs of lacing.
Aroma is strong and heavy with citrus hops (tangerine). Has a touch of vanilla.
Taste is full of tangerine, with a tug of influences between sweet pulp and more bitter pith. This continues into the aftertaste. No burning hops in the throat, but the nasal passages are massaged by the thick hops. The lactose and vanilla push this into the milkshake realm.
Full mouth feel, but relatively smooth. Good carbonation.
Very much citrus (tangerine especially) hops influenced. Has a strong taste but no bitterness. Part of the new wave of IPAs that have the resemblance to an fruit laden ice cream beverage.
