Fluff Buddy has a unique take on an IPA I haven't seen before. A marshmallow double IPA with vanilla beans and a lot of marshmallow. The idea was to get a lactose style IPA without the lactose addition.
I'm kind of burned out on the milkshake style IPA's but this is interesting enough. It is definitely sweet...but a different sweet than most lactose IPA's....I do get a touch of the marshmallow and vanilla along with a papaya/mango/peach/apricot juiciness. The marshmallow/vanilla is subtle which to me works well with this beer.
Unique. Glad I bought it but won't revisit.

This beer pours a murky yellow with an average head. The aroma is rather mild, with vanilla, guava, and a passion fruit, but all rather understated. The flavor is similarly restrained - vanilla, white peach, passion fruit, guava - maybe a vague sense of marshmallow, but nothing powerful. The mouthfeel is gentle with fluffy carbonation. Overall this was a bit of a disappointment. The flavor intensity is rather underwhelming, and I don't get as much affect from the marshmallow as I would have hoped. Nothing offensive, but nothing that stands out.
