A sour brewed with more Sour Patch Kids® than we'd ever seen before. We've also added lemon, lime, orange, raspberry, pink guava, and sea salt for a flavor that'll take you way, way back to that time a few days ago when you ate a huge pile of Sour Patch Kids®.... or was that just us?

Drekker is a brewer I've loved since day one. My (new) beer vendor knows I'll buy this stuff so he's been trying to get more for me. I prefer the thickest ones and I think this is the thickest of the Prrrts I've tried.

This pours a little thick but extremely opaque. It's like a V-8 mixed with lots of ruby red grapefruit juice - that color. The aroma is of all the fruit that blows this baby up. The taste is an extremely lively fruit mix. Ale must be in there somewhere, but beats me where. The whole drink is an exotic sweet and sour treat.

Highly recommended. This is a fruity beer amplified.

Pours ruby red with minimal head. Smells of raspberries and lemon. Taste is predominately lemon, raspberry, and orange. Very tart but not sour. Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated. Finish is akin to lemon juice.

Pours a orangish red with soapy, pink foam.

Smell is tart and juicy with notes of raspberries, lime, raspberry jam and orange.

Taste is tart and creamy with notes of raspberries, lime, orange zest and jelly candy, along with hints of both sweetness and bitterness, A touch of salt on the finish.

Mouthfeel is medium, soft and creamy, with plenty of spritzy carbonation.

Overall, a great candy weisse, lots of flavor but still focused.

This is a unique beer indeed! This came in a beer drop and I wasn't sure what to expect ... it looks like the color of vomit after you've been drinking red drannnnks all night. Seriously one of the least appealing colored beers I've seen.

Getting past the look of it ... it's like drinking a sour patch kid candy. It has a sour note obviously balanced by sweet creating sour lime shoestring licorice or a handful of sour patch kids. I don't get the vanilla note others have mentioned at all.

I think that props need to be given for the overall uniqueness of the beer. Would I drink more than one of these in a night? Nope. But this is a fun and unique offering. I'd suggest serving it in a red solo cup or other non-clear glass.
