Delicious smoothie sour!

Drekker BRAAAAAAAAins Peach and Passionfruit Double Fruit Smoothie Sour, 5.5% ABV. Pours dirty-orange, with a ring of bubbles that left puree residue. Aroma is an incredible mashup of peach, passionfruit, lactose and vanilla. Taste follows, quite sweet, slightly tart, salt on the close. Smooth mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

 

 

 

 

 

Drekker Brewing Company’s Braaaaaaaains - Peach And Passion Fruit Double Fruit Smoothie Sour 6% ABV. This sour pours a deep golden peach color with tons of haziness looks just like unfiltered peach nectar with absolutely no head. The aroma is of fresh ripe peaches and passion fruits with hints of pineapples smelling like fruit juice not beer there is a hint of sourness. The flavor is a wave of peaches passion fruits with hints of orange juice and pineapple intertwined with a sweet/tart flavor that lingers giving you that slight sourness along with hints of vanilla and lactose that add depth and mouthfeel. The mouthfeel is very creamy and luscious with the right amount of carbonation. Overall this is a fantastic sour beer that doesn’t taste like beer at all and isn’t overly sour. 7.5/10

 

Appearance: Has all the characteristics of a glass of orange juice. An angry pour didn’t kick up even a trace of foam.

Smells like that classic Dole orange juice/pineapple juice breakfast drink That came in the carton. I’m assuming that’s passion fruit and peaches however. Definite notes of sour. Smells pretty dang good.

Taste is a flavor wave of tart peachy orange passion fruit that washes across the tongue with that so so nice lingering sweet/tart interplay around the edges. Not incredibly puckering but very tasty with a depth of body that ties it all together and jams up the palate with that extra soft mouthfeel just to be sure you know this is a well crafted beer.

Can. Pours like orange juice. Doesn’t look like beer.

Doesn’t taste like beer either. Peach, mango, passion fruit, orange, etc. all the juices. Vanilla and lactose. Sour and creamy. Wow. Tastes like the answer.
