Drekker Flarndip BBA Imperial Stout 10% ABV. Pours black with a 1+ finger light brown head that left no lacing. Nose is marshmallow, chocolate, and vanilla. Taste follows, plus roast malt, very light bourbon, moderately sweet, slightly bitter. Essentially a BBA s'mores beer, though no graham. Nose is much better than the taste. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding. Sure wish they'd can this in larger quantities.

Picked up this pricey 500ML bottle because, well, I have bad judgment & little to no self-control.

The pour is Witcher stare black, with a nose like someone is firing marshmallow Nerfs at my head. Repeatedly. And most hitting me in the nostrils. A little vanilla. A lotta sweetness.

Flarndip is a flarge bigtern. This tastes like the world record of fitting 44 marshmallows in your mouth at once, then swilling a mediocre stout to wash the taste out – this is what you’re left with. OK, there’s a touch of vanilla, & I can almost imagine there is chocolate mixed in there somewhere. Barrel? None touched this beer. Simultaneously thin & cloyingly sweet, like drinking a glass of heavily sugared water. 500ML is going to be far, far, far too much for my various body parts to handle.

Priced like a premium barrel aged beer, but without the barrel, & really without anything other than 44 marshmallows. I will wait until someone gives me a shot of Drekker at a tasting before I’ll buy another of their BA beers. Sub-par.

Bottle. A little tan head. Dark brown nearing black color.

All marshmallow and cocoa. Lots of chocolate. Vanilla like sweetness. Light barrel. The base beer feels a little light but I don’t mind because the marshmallow is so delicious.
