Pours a thick plum/maroon color, almost prune juice like, one finger of head that quickly leaves. Nose is heavy strawberry. Taste is tart strawberry (dominating), guava, and a hint of vanilla. Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, somewhat prickly and creamy from the lactose. Finish is brief tartness but not puckering.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 3/2020. Pours opaquely hazy/murky ruby reddish/pinkish/orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy orange head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy strawberries, strawberries, guava, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, apricot, red/green apple, vanilla, cream, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of strawberry, guava, fruity/light acidic yeast, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy, lightly tart/tangy strawberries, guava, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, apricot, red/green apple, vanilla, cream, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Very mild fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy strawberries, guava, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, apricot, red/green apple, vanilla, cream, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberry, guava, fruity/light acidic yeast, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/sugar/tart/tangy balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering tang/tartness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety, and lightly slick/acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is amazing. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is an amazing fruited milkshake sour. All around amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberry, guava, fruity/light acidic yeast, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly acidic/tangy/drying finish; amazing soft/silky feel. Tastes just like a fruit smoothie with a bit of beer. Super jammy fruit with light lacto complexity; and a creamy malt/lactose backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly amazing offering, and top tier style example as expected of the brewery.

Can. Pulpy pale white raspberry color.
Thick and chunky. Fruity. Not sour or tart. Jammy. Big strawberry and guava flavor.
Light bodied. Very easy drinking. My can didn’t last long.

Drekker Braaaaaaaains - Strawberry & Guava Double Fruit Smoothie Sour, 4% ABV. Pours thick murky red with a finger of white head that left lactose and sugar residue. Nose is strawberry and lactose. Taste is strawberry, guava, lactose, quite sweet, slightly tart. Mouthfeel is smooth. Overall outstanding. You could give this to someone and convince them it's a smoothie, not a beer.
