Murky, orange color. Medium-sized, white head. Tangerine, malt, and mango in the aroma. Moderately sweet, juicy taste with a touch of yeasts. A good hazy IPA.

 

 

16oz can dated 4/29/24.

Pours cloudy gold with an inch of white head. Moderate retention and lacing. Juicy citrus in the nose with mango, pineapple, orange. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Ripe tropicals on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Orange, peach, mango. Finishes ripe and fairly lush.

16oz can. Bottom stamp reads 'CANNED ON 04/23/24'.
Hazy, straw colored body. Two fingers of fluffy white head, and this becomes a full cap with ascending ring. Leaves behind brick walls of lacing.
Aroma expresses the hops with tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and mango.
Taste is fruity sweet, with flavors that all bring forth a dank touch - grapefruit, pineapple, lime, orange, mango, and coconut.
More than medium mouthfeel; the oats provide the smooth and soft texture. Bitterness is low but something close to hop burn arrives late in each draw. Excellent carbonation.
More than one is too much but the soft, sweet fruity, and dank is good for the one glass.

 

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store located just around the corner. It poured a hazy golden with no head and no lace. The scent had dank citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base and dank bitter citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

 

Looks like a glass of orange juice.

Once you get past that, it's a soft and juicy NEIPA.

I know I don't like evil natured robots, so I was prejudiced against this brew.

It pours hazy yellow with a bit of fizz. The aroma is a nice take on the style. The taste suffers from a dishwater off taste that sticks with you. It's a stanky choice they made. I just prefer other combinations.

Not recommended. I love this brewer, but they can't all be winners.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity), pale light orange color with a mild white head. SRM of 5-6. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange citrus, grapefruit citrus, citrus flower with some green pineapple, lime and guava. (4.25)

Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of orange citrus, tangelo, citrus flower. Some green pineapple, grapefruit citrus. Some sweet pineapple, mango, coconut underneath. Lots of green citrus, guava, and lime. Flowery, and lightly bitter. Pretty dry. Dynamic flavors here. (4.25)

Feel: Medium-bodied. Strong carbonation. Leaves a flowery and light bitterness on the palate, but just the right amount. (4.25)

Compared to Drekker Sometime Around Midnight 6/24/22: Pours a lighter, hazier color. Stronger aromas. More orange citrus, citrus flower, pineapple. Less sweet orange juice and mango. Lighter and cleaner. Winner: Evil Natured Robots

Compared to Drekker Evil Synaptic Cleft 8/26/22: Pours a similar appearance, milder head. Milder aromas. More orange citrus, tangelo. Less citrus and pineapple rind. More spiced orange variety with a larger bite. Winner: Synaptic Cleft

Compared to Drekker Brace for the G's 9/14/22: Pours slightly darker. Milder aromas. More navel orange, cantaloupe, citrus spice. More of a citrus bite. Less lime, kiwi, coconut, Asian tropical fruit. Similar sweetness.

Compared to Drekker King of the Thing 10/2022: More citrus rind and pineapple. Less tropical pineapple, papaya, melon, fruit. More citrus and astringency and bitterness.
5/2024: Pours lighter , stronger head. Stronger aromas, but similar. Less sweet and sticky tropical orange/tangerine. More juicy pineapple, papaya, grapefruit, and melon. More bright and less sticky.
7/24: Pours lighter, similar aromas. More tropical berries/grape. Less sticky pineapple.

Compared to Hop Butcher Lord Octopus 5/2024: Pours lighter, stronger aromas. More orange, green pineapple, coconut, guava, lime. Less tropicla berries, melon, floral notes. Juicier.

to Toppling Goliath Cosmic Artcher 5/2024: Pours lighter, similar aromas. More tropical mango, papaya notes. Less grapefruit citrus and zest. Similar grape flavors. Slightly sweeter.

to Drekker 3 Greg Tomlette 6/2024: Pours darker, similar head. Similar aromas. Less pineapple, citrus zest, mango. More tropical berries and sweet grape. Sweeter, but overall similar.

to Hop Butcher Loophole Technicality 7/2024: Pours lighter, similar aromas. More bright grape and citrus. Less tropical tangerine and peach. Brighter and cleaner.

Overall: A fantastic NEIPA. Showcases the flavors extremely well. Huge orange citrus, citrus flower, green guava, lime, balanced with tropical Melon. Has it all. The citrus flower balances the sweet tropical and both play together so well. The New Zealand hops (NZH 107) really add the finishing touch here. orange citrus, green pineapple, guava, coconut, and lime. One of the best Drekker NEIPA I've had to date. This is one I'll have again (Rating: 4.24)
