Pale, opaque yellow body; one-finger thick head, frothy and curvy. Fine light fresh citrus aroma initially; transforms into a gentle peach and apricot scent. Warm biscuit and slightly tart citrus flavor; citrus rind and a phenolic bitterness. Heavy, creamy body; acidic and gently tart; nice blend of sweetness and dryness to the mouthfeel.

This is a great looking and flavorful beer. Balanced throughout and very nice drinking.

 

Hazy pineapple orange with a tight, white creamy foam head. Great lacing.

Smell is pineapple, melon, orange.

taste is much the same, tropical fruit smoothie backed by bitter hops

Seriously creamy and pretty thick, has good bitterness. very smooth with some tingling on the tongue.

A great hazy, a heavy hitter thats probably a one and done only because of the 9.2 Abv, otherwise id have many more. An interesting hopping technique is used in this beer as well where they add hops pre-fermentation. The addition of carafoam malt gives this a full and luscious umami and Kviek yeast imparts some interesting flavor as well. Nicely balanced given everything thats going on behind the scenes with this one. Well done

 

Drekker Toon Dip DDH DIPA, 9.2% ABV. Pours hazy yellow with a 2+ finger white head that left foamy lacing. Nose is sweet citrus, vanilla, and light pine. Taste is grapefruit, some pine, moderate bitterness. Decent mouthfeel, overall excellent. Nose is MUCH better than the taste. Flavor worsened as it warmed, and drain poured half which is rare for me.
