Oh lawd he back! Our favorite hefty boy returns, this time slathered in strawberry & dark chocolate from nose to tail. This is another absolutely absurd creation that’s bulging with that rich, sweet, & tart flavor we’ve come to love about our plump & portly buddy.

Poured into a Stone Arrogant Bastard pint glass.
I’m not sure how to rate this as far as appearance. It’s really not attractive - like, AT ALL - but I’m not sure I can hold this against it since I don’t know what a “sundae sour” SHOULD look like. My best description is a cross between a chocolate protein shake blended with strawberries and what chocolate milk looks like after being left in a hot car for a couple days. (I’m sure parents out there know exactly what I mean!) The head - if you can call it that - even bubbles up like a protein shake!
The nose is straight-up tart strawberry. The taste is as advertised. A huge dose of strawberry with a hint of chocolate on the back end. The strawberry is definitely the featured player.
The feel is running parallel with the appearance. Kinda slick, bordering on slimy, and not that pleasant. But again, not sure if I can hold that against it, as this isn’t a type of “beer” I’ve ever really had before.
Even despite the odd appearance and feel, this thing is super tasty and I would definitely drink it again. Totally unique.

16oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating, but a very recent release. Tavour purchase.
One of the oddest looking beers I've ever had. Looks like a chocolate shake with small white flecks floating around. Thick, thick light chocolate colored head leaves layers of lacing. Head maintains its size right to the last drop
Good honest aroma of strawberry.
On tasting, the tart strawberry flavor is above all others. But it's tempered by a sweet malt base. I can't actually taste chocolate, but the feel of it is there.
Mouth closer to full than medium, finish a sweet, tart strawberry flavor.
Overall, simply a delicious drink. A beer? Well, who cares. Not me. Tastes more of a fruit beer than a wild, but lactobacillus is used.
