When the boys from Back Channel Brewing rolled into our parking lot in their RV packed with good beers and old school video games, we knew we were in for a good time. We kicked out an IPA with our choicest Citra, Mosaic, Strata & Motueka hops, and fermented it with our favorite kveik yeast.

Hazy bright yellow with a finger of white foam. Pineapple, mango, lime, papaya and lemon in smell and taste with decently bright yet bitter hops. Smell is more hoppy, taste more fruity, but both within the same realm of each other. Slight kick of white pepper and melon rind as it warms. Feel is juicy, bright, crisp, full yet smooth. I've always been more of a hadouken or psycho crusher guy in the games, but this flash kick is worth savoring

Drekker FlashKick DIPA, 8.2% ABV. Pours hazy yellow, with a 2+ finger white head that left no lacing. Nose is pine, black pepper, and citrus. Taste follows with slight sweetness and moderate piney bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent.

16oz can into a pint glass. NO freshness dating. Tavour purchase.
Pale, almost ghostly, hazy yellow body. Bright white head shrinks to a thick ring and covering. Sparse lacing.
Dull slightly herbal fruity aroma.
On tasting, mix of dank and fruit notes, which is actually quite pleasing.
Mouth is only just about medium, finish warm, herbal, and a little stone fruit.
Overall, a decent enough NE dipa, no major faults.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a golden yellow color and a pretty cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A solid aroma of hops, citrus fruit, malt, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of good shot of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), a good amount of hops (just enough to make things interesting), a decent bit of tropical fruit (mango, especially), a slightly dank quality, and a little bit of malt (mostly in the finish; not a big factor). This is a well-constructed, easy to like flavor. Very well-balanced and tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A super solid, easy to drink DIPA. Worth a look.

Can. White head. Some lace. Hazy sunset orange.
Tropical and juicy. Still pretty fresh so some hop bite/bitterness showing. Pineapple, orange, mango. Would like to revisit, but enjoying as is otherwise.
