Drekker Blueberry Lemon Cobbler Slang Du Jour Sour à la Mode, 6.1% ABV. Pours thick and murky purple, with a one-finger light purple head that left puree residue. Nose is lemon, brown sugar, and blueberry. Taste follows, plus vanilla, moderately sweet and slightly tart. Excellent mouthfeel, overall world-class. Truly a pastry sour.

16oz can into a pint glass. NO freshness dating.
Looks very interesting in the glass. Deep plum colored body with a strong reddish tinted head. This shrinks to a ring and faint covering leaving a sheen of lacing.
This smells amazing. There is a strong comforting cinnamon crust aroma rising above a bed of lemon.
On tasting though, the roles are reversed. It's a strong lemon flavor with the spicy crust weaving in and out. Would really have preferred it if the taste followed the nose exactly.
Mouth above medium, finish lemon dryness with some cinnamon.
Overall, and I freely admit that lemon is not my favorite taste in a beer, it's so strong here that I find myself thinking it would be a spectacular beer if the lemon was dialed back.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a dark purple color and a thick, smoothie-like consistency. There was a thin, reddish, foamy head that quickly dissipated. Excellent lacing.
S: A sweet and enticing aroma of citrus fruit, berries, spices, vanilla, and lactose.
T: Tasted of a bit of the advertised blueberries (a subtle presence), a mild amount of lactose (not a massive factor), a lot of the citrus fruit (lemon, in particular), a tinge of vanilla (just a tinge), and a bit of spice (cinnamon, especially). This is a zesty, sweet, and sharp finish. Lots of fruit and tons of character.
F: Had a lot of carbonation with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A thoroughly enjoyable sour beer. Drinkable.
