A: cloudy; pale gold in color; 1 finger white head that receded to a wispy cap; nice lacing;

S: pineapple with grapefruit and tangerine in the background; as it warmed, melon came on strongly;

T: follows the nose up front; from the middle through the finish, it's a soapy creamsicle;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: aroma was better than the flavor;

 

 

Cloudy, yellow color. Medium-sized, white head. Melon, citrus, dank hops, and malt in the aroma. Moderately bitter, juice taste with an astringent ending.

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity), light and pale yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 5. (4.25)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of sweet citrus, peaches, some tropical melon.

Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of tropical pineapple, lemon, some peach and melon.

Feel: Medium-bodied, appropriate carbonation. Juicy and mildly sweet.

Compared to Drekker Revenge of the Hippies 1/2023: Pours identical, stronger head. Milder aromas. More sweet tangerine, maybe pineapple. Less juicy lemon, citrus flower, and peach. Older and less juicy, but overall somewhat similar flavors.

Overall: A decent one from Drekker. Drinking slightly older than I'd like but some nice tangerine, peach, and faint lemon flavors. Probably was more juicy and better fresh. Still drinks okay, but nothing remarkable. (Rating: 4.02)
