Drekker Black Currant/Plum/Cherry BRAAAAAAAAins Double Fruit Smoothie Sour, 7.5% ABV. Pours thick and murky deep purple with a one finger pink head. Nose is grape, plum, cherry, and vanilla. Taste is tart cherry, grape, and vanilla, slightly sweet, quite tart, with salt on the close. Decent thick and smooth mouthfeel, owing to the lactose and fruit puree. Overall excellent.

Pours a milky raspberry red with a 1/2 inch pink head. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is very fruity. Currants, cherries, plums.

Taste is currants, cherries, plums. Tart and sweet.

Full body. light carbonation. Tart and sweet finish.

One of the weirdest beers I've ever had. A very good fruit sour.

 

 

Ordered from Tavour, chilled in my fridge for a couple weeks and poured into an imperial pint glass.

Look: dark red, purple with a small quarter finger size head. Thick purée head and lacing that hangs around a while.
Smell: deep smells of puréed cherry and plum (not exactly sure what a currant smells like). Hints of vanilla, but mostly earthy fruit smells dominate.
Taste: taste follows the smell... sour, fruity up front, cherry dominates the mid palate plum lingers in the nose and vanilla hangs around with some earthy fruitiness.
Feel: full mouthfeel, sour and a small tickle of carbonation.

Overall this is another super yummy braaaaaaaains addition from Drekker. For an almost 8% ABV beer the booze is hidden well, the sour is mild and the cherry lets you know it is the fruit in the slushy beer. We love Drekker creativity and this is a good one.

Pours a very deep maroon with a hint of blackish purple and a near non existent dark pink head. It smells like sweet cherries and vanilla mostly with very slight hints of fruitiness front he plum and a "dark" berry smell from the currants. The taste is one of the best smoothie sours I've had. It's tart up front without being overly sweet and it has the perfect amount of vanilla in it to compliment the tangy fruit flavors. It goes down too easily for almost 8% and has a very satisfying thick mouthfeel. Overall the best smoothie sour I've had so far.

 

A Tavour treat. Pours a cloudy red color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is tropical fruits. Tastes of sweet fruit juices with a good sour component. Smooth and creamy.

Another tasty version of braaaaaaaains. Doesn’t taste like beer, but tastes like a good smoothie. Cherry and plums and vanilla/lactose sweetness. Delish Jamba Juice.

 

 

Pours a thick black cherry plum color with a pink/purple head. Smell is fresh plum and blackberry. Taste is fresh fruit of plum and Black currant cherry comes in the finis. A fruited tart mouthfeel full of fresh fruit as described.
