Pours hazy, light yellowish-orange. A three-quarter inch, creamy-white head quickly falls to a quarter inch. White lace forms rings around the Strangebird IIPA glass.
The aroma opens with fresh mango followed by grapefruit, pineapple, and spruce. Warmth brings out a floral scent of orange blossoms.
This one is very bitter, dominated initially by orange zest. Grapefruit pith slowly takes over while a background of sweetness is at a distance. The finish is strong with pineapple and pine lasting quite a while.
The body is full to medium with a smooth plush texture similar to fur. Fine fizzy carbonation adds a creaminess with each sip. Alcohol is about as expected, with light warmth. The hops have a strong, gum-numbing effect.
This is a nice beer. I can't say the Kveik yeast is obvious. Nevertheless, it is a good Hazy IPA.

Drekker Brewing Company IPA - Triple New England IPA
The Kveik yeast packs a punch. Sour candy and tangy, over ripe red fruits pop out in a big way. I'm a big fan of unique and interesting yeast strains and this one is amped up. Earthy fruit tang from the hops adds one more level of tangy and sweet. Brutal. A unique hop combo has fruit and earth tones flavors all over the board. Malt bill and grains provide the strength necessary to hold down the fort. Go easy on this one.

Pours a very hazy straw-gold almost with the look of white grapefruit juice. Limited head but excellent retention and lacing.
Aromas of grapefruit, passionfruit, pear, and berry.
The flavors are similar. Fairly sweet compared with expectation. Plenty of grapefruit, sure, but also passionfruit, white stone fruit, and berry. A bit of resin at the finish. Not a zero-booze D/TIPA but it's very well-hidden.
Creamy and smooth. Medium-full bodied.
A very flavorful imperial NEIPA. Not sure what a "Nordic" IPA is, but this one is tasty.

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 8/4/22 into a snifter.
Look- Pale gold, no visible particulate, very hazy, frothy white head, average head retention, above average lacing.
Smell- Clementine, ripe melon, pineapple, slight strawberry, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Clementine, ripe melon, pithy, pineapple, very boozy, medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, moderately bitter, very boozy, soft, mildly mouth coating.
Overall- Appealing pale gold color with plenty of haziness that is expected from a NEIPA. Bouquet was moderate in strength with pleasant notes of clementine and ripe melon. Flavor was clementine and ripe melon with a dominant and unbalanced booziness. This beer had a medium body and a mild mouth coating quality. Overall the beer was enjoyable with good flavors and bouquet. The booziness was slightly too pronounced and this is coming from a guy that loves big boozy beers.

A - Pours a cloudy golden orange with a thin white head. Nice amount of soapy lacing.
S - Aroma is mango, peach, orange and grapefruit.
T - The taste is orange peel, grapefruit, lemon peel and a huge punch of bitter hops. Bitterness lingers and is quite abrasive.
M - Full body with medium carbonation. Syrupy mouthfeel with a crisp dry finish.
O - Decent TRIPA. The hops are abrasive and tend to overpower the rest of the flavors.

Aroma is fruit and citrus/bad citric acid. The flavor is fruit, citrus, malts, tropical fruit and a long and spicy hop/hop resin/mildly sweet finish.

A bit underwhelming for a TIPA. Seems more like an NEIPA. Cloudy, juicy, and citrusy, with a polite bitter aftertaste. Clean, easy sipping, boozy presence that isn’t over assertive. Expected more, but wasn’t disappointed.
