This Sour a la Mode is jam packed with an obscene amount of black currant & plum and then crumbled up with our choice cobbler treatment of granola, brown sugar, cinnamon, lactose, and vanilla beans for that fresh out of the oven flavor we just can’t get enough of.

Poured from the can into a glass. Look- Pours a very thick red- purple with some fruit sediment with a 2 finger pink white head. Looks very good. Smell- I wish i got more on the smell, to me it was faint plum. Taste- Tart and sweet just like you would expect. I really enjoyed this. Wouldn’t drink it all the time but it is very good. Feel- thick mouth feel due to all the fruit. Very good though. Overall- Very good. I recommend it for something different. Very nice summer beer.

Drekker Black Currant Plum Cobbler Slang Du Jour Sour à la Mode, 7.7% ABV. Pours gloppy thick and maroon with a slight pink head. Nose is vaguely sweet fruit. Taste is more tart than sweet, with a mashup of black current and dark fruit/plum, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Couldn't pick up much granola, which is a shame. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent. Not my favorite variant.

Pours opaque magenta. Limited head but it sticks around and the lacing is good
It smells like a cobbler all around. Cinnamon, vanilla, and brown sugar meet up with biscuity/toasty bread and blackberry and plum.
Sweeter than the usual kettle sour, owing to heaps of brown sugar. Honey and cinnamon. Pear, sour apple, choke cherry, and plum in mid-stream. Dark cherry and raisin at the finish.
Pulpy chewy and full bodied. This is a fruity-smoothie bomb for sure, and yet it has a decent subtle acidity to help cut through.
There may be better individual pulpy kettle sours that are better than Drekker's best, but I'm starting to think the folks with the garish can art have mastered the art of delivering brew after brew in this lane without repeating previous iterations.
