Braaaaaaaains - Mango, Orange, Banana

Cloudy, orange color. Medium-sized, yellow head. Mango, orange, vanilla, and lactose in the aroma. Juicy, tart with some moderate sweetness. Tasty as usual.

Over a year old, which makes me think I would like my Braaaaains right out of the skull instead of letting them sit. That being said, these are three of my favorite fruits (I made a smoothie with them this morning), and this definitely delivers all the flavors well. My only problem is it feels really flat, which might be on me for not drinking it sooner. Otherwise, an excellent beer.

 

 

Look: I didn't get a great look at it, but it looked appealing as an orange tropical drink
Smell: Fantastic fruit smell that goes well with the taste
Taste: Lots of orange with an aftertaste of tang and banana
Feel: Creamy but not too heavy of a mouthfeel

I'd say it's very enjoyable. Would get it again in the summer or for hotter days.

Canned 6/6/22

L: Opaque orange. White head dissipates rapidly to a thin ring.

S: Orange is the dominant note, hints of mango, banana, and vanilla.

T: Vanilla up front, juicy orange mid palate, finishes with a blend of vanilla, orange, mango, and banana.

F: Nectary thickness, smooth and juicy. Just a bit boozy.

O: This is a beer for people who don’t like beer. Kind of like a fancy breakfast cocktail. Good, but wouldn’t buy again.

Nucleated Pilsner
Look: Hazy orange color, pouring a thin cap for a head which dissipated to nothing
Smell: Classic sour smell, with addition of strong mango notes, slight orange and light banana
Taste: Lightly tart, strong mango flavor with light orange influence and the sweetness of a ripe banana
Feel: Smooth, creamy mouthfeel
Overall: This is a great tropical sour, and the first one I have had which contained banana
