Drekker Raspberry/Coconut Crumble Slang Du Jour Sour à la Mode, 7.3% ABV. Pours thick and murky light red with a 3+ finger light-red head with huge bubbles that left puree residue. Nose is raspberry, coconut, granola, and vanilla. Taste follows, quite sweet, mildly tart, tastes pie-like, owing mainly to the granola emulating a crust. Excellent creamy and thick mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Overall world-class, as they knock another one out of the park.

The label makes it perfectly clear what this is, so it should be judged within that context. The pour from a pint can easily empties it into a clear Imperial pint glass in one effort. The brew is an unattractive murky mess, like raspberries and coconut were blended into a vanilla milkshake. It's nicely carbonated and there's a redeeming solid and enduring head that holds traits of the brew's color. It smells like a raspberry-coconut vanilla milkshake, but it's subdued and not too sweet. Make no mistake, this is a desert milkshake beer and it is sweet to the tongue. All the proscribed flavors are in there and in good balance. It is almost as richly bodied and smooth as an actual milkshake. There's no hint of the alcohol and instead of glass lacing, there's a sticky film left behind. It's a very good desert beer, but even the best of them are one and done. Very much worth a try, but buying a whole case isn't recommended.

Pulpy ruby orange body. Thick fluffy head, lots of floaties. Sweet coconut, tart raspberry, mild-medium acetic acidity, lemon, touch of chocolate and sweet grains. Thick bodied, good carb. Toasted coconut on the backend, tasty baked goods.

Slang Du Jour Raspberry Coconut Crumble
Drekker Brewing
Date: Unknown
I love these beers from this brewery. I poured into tulip glass; the temperature was 44 degrees. A frothy and airy pinkish four-finger rock steady head. Seriously, this head has not moved in over five minutes. The snail pace dissipation left loads of lacing on the glass. The color is a light salmon pink. A perfect appearance for the beer.
I graham crackers, raspberries, coconuts, vanilla; just leap out of the glass. Next, I smell a hint of sugar, lemons, lightly toasted malts, a touch of floral, and salt.
The flavors are raspberries, coconuts, vanilla with graham crackers, head to flavor town. Lightly toasted crackers a touch of floral, salt, tartness, and fruity sweetness.
The mouthfeel is slightly sour and thick. The body is medium, low carbonation, a lovely finish.
I have consumed a few of this style from Drekker; moreover, this one is the best. I have never seen a head last this long on any beer. The flavors are cohesive and bright. Amazing beer!

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy whitish pink in color. It poured with a half finger high off white head that left lots of slushy particles down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of raspberry are present in the nose along with notes of coconut.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of raspberry are a bit stronger. Little to no sour is perceptible.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and a bit "slushy" on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is packed with lots of aromas and flavors of raspberries and makes for a good dessert beer.

Canned on 7/14/2021. Poured into a tulip glass. It pours a dense, pink-magenta color with a large, thick, frothy, pink cap and lots of lacing. There are also some large bits of sediment floating in the glass which is a bit off-putting. The nose is quite aromatic with raspberry, coconut, and graham cracker. The taste is big and bold with lots of ripe raspberry, vanilla, lactose, and granola. It's very sweet - cloyingly so - but the flavor certainly simulates the intended dessert. The mouth feel is amazing; it's like drinking a smoothie. It's super thick and chewy. I feel like I could eat it with a fork. I'm not sure what the floating material is; it's thick and a bit weird but it doesn't affect the taste. Overall, this is one of the biggest, thickest, Kettle Sours I've experienced. It's my first one from Drekker and I don't know whether it's representative. More sampling is definitely called for.

Pours a creamy raspberry smoothie color with a pink head. Smell is fresh raspberry and vanilla. Taste is very fresh raspberry, and not much else, did not pick up on the coconut, granola or nutmeg. Mouth feel fresh and slight tart . This Slang was one sided in Raspberry ,would have liked the additions more in play, sttill it was fresh and very good
