Drekker Strawberry/Blueberry/Banana BRAAAAAAAAins Double Fruit Smoothie Sour, 7.8% ABV. Pours gloppy opaque medium red with a 4-finger pink head that left puree residue. Nose is strawberry, blueberry, banana, and vanilla. Taste follows with blueberry and strawberry up front, banana in the middle, and salt in the aftertaste. Excellent thick and smooth mouthfeel, overall world-class. One of the best BRAAAAAAAAins variants.

Pours a very cloudy, opaque deep red color with a thick red foamy head. Looks like a smoothie. Head retention is good as is lacing. Strawberry dominates on the aroma. There are hints of banana but having a difficult time finding the blueberry. Same goes with the taste, but there is a hint of blueberry. Heavy bodied with mild carbonation.

Brains Strawberry/Blueberry/Banana
Drekker Brewing
Date: 21 of July or August 2021
I poured into tulip glass; the temperature was 44 degrees. A frothy and airy one-fingered purple head was created. The somewhat quick dissipation left bits of fruit on the glass. The color is purple and opaque. The appearance is typical for this style and from this brewery.
I get the berries, hard to distinguish which is what. The bananas, salt, lemons, and vanilla are what I detect next. Lastly, I smell a faint hint of floral and fruity tartness.
The tart berries with a slight lemon flavor brighten this thick beer. Vanilla, salt, lightly toasted malts, a bit of floral, and a bit of cider.
The mouthfeel is sour and chewy. The body is medium, medium carbonation, and lasting finish.
Out of all the brains I have consumed thus far, this is not my favorite. The fruit seems a bit dull; moreover, the tartness is not what I am talking about. I want more banana flavors than all the berries. I do like the pleasant accompaniment of vanilla and salt; it helps balance out the beer.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Thick viscous burgundy/purple pour. Two fingers of pink-tinged head leave thick lacing. No light getting through this. Loads of sediment/debris with the pour.
S: Fruit and berry. Loads of blueberry... some strawberry.
T.F: Sweet/tart. Lots of fruit. Blueberry, strawberry, and banana just as advertised. Vanilla and cream. More berry... tart but not sour. Thick and smooth... creamy mouthfeel.
O: A sweet/tart blueberry/strawberry/banana milkshake. Absolutely delicious... and hard to tell that this is even beer. Wonderful stuff.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy purple in color and has some pinkish hues. It poured with a finger high pink colored head that gradually died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of banana are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of blueberries and hints of strawberries. Only a faint amount of sourness is perceptible.
M: It feels light-to medium-bodied on the palate and has the consistency of a fruit smoothie.
O: This beer tastes just like a fruit smoothie and is very easy to drink. No alcohol whatsoever is perceptible in the taste.

Pours a murky reddish purple with a head of a lighter color that dissipates somewhat quickly. It smells like blueberries, strawberries, and banana with a sour malty funk to it. The taste is literally the best fruited sour I've ever had. The combination of blueberries strawberries and banana is done perfectly. It tastes like fresh fruit in a a smoothie that's just a touch sour and perfectly alcoholic without being winey from the higher abv. It's thick like a naked smoothie and goes down criminally smooth for an almost 8% beer. Overall the best fruited sour I've ever had.

Can. Purple maroon head. Chunky smoothie maroon plum color.
Strawberry banana smoothie with some tart blueberry. Another Jamba Juice beer from drekker. Sweet vanilla and lactose.
I like other flavors better, but this is still good for fake beer.

16 oz can, canned 7/20/21, @ 3:33 PM (wow, down to the minute, impressive), 6.3% ABV.
Into Parish Teku glass. Curiosity got the best of me tonight.
Rolled 8-10 times, placed upside down for a minute, then tipped upright for the pour.
Disturbingly thick liquid here, looking like cream of something soup, forming a deep purple with a head of 3 fingers that spills over the lip - despite my best efforts of gentle rolls, and gentle pour, and only 6 oz from the can. I'm trying over here! It's an ugly beast too - and it leaves literal sludge and pieces on the walls of the glass, looking like a sludged-up timing cover explosion. Disgusting. I hope it tastes better than it looks.
Aroma gives me thick mixed berry yogurt with an exciting zip to it; getting some banana in the form of both runts and sweet mashed. I love the zippy fruit punch quality behind all of this. It is surprisingly quiet on the nose for being a double fruited sour.
Whoa. Flavor is good. Strong but smooth. I get banana bread with blueberry compote topping. Nice hits of vanilla and creme. Tailing notes of berry Gushers and some strawberry Bubble Tape. Lots of sweet candy and fruit notes combined. Zero sourness (mmrm.). Slight fruit punch notes behind that. I think that's what's really doing it for me. It disappears fast. I shudder thinking how many calories are in this brew (600? 800?), but it's delicious. Disappears dangerously fast, priming you for another one. Buckle up, fatty!
Feel is about as thick as any esteemed barrel aged stout you'd encounter, which works for this beer smoothie, and has a nice zip to it with hidden alcohol.
Overall, despite its rough introduction, the flavor really hit the stratosphere. It fills the niche of the smoothie milkshake beer - a style nobody asked for but many people gush over (no pun intended). For that reason it lacks any sort of real palatable sour culture and that's a twig in my shoe. Would probably be a 4+ from me if it weren't for their failure to clean up the junk floating in their beers before they finish them. I guarantee you, it's just a gimmick, and it'd be an instant disqualifier at a beer competition.
Despite their continual technical difficulties, this was very good. The sweetness is not overboard, and though it struggles hand-and-foot to qualify as a sour beer, it's a delicious beer-thing and I enjoyed it. It'll open me up to trying new things from them, maybe, possibly. Definitely the best Dk I've had thusfar.
Would make a great liquid dessert after a hearty meal of Swedish Meatballs or Bhuna Gosht.
$6.99 / can (or $24.99 x4) @ Hy-Vee
Still, sadly, too expensive for what it is. $13.99 would be about right in line for me.
