Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a super thick purplish-red color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades super-fast leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is huge of a lemonade and cherry smell mixed with lime and lemon. Along with these smells are notes of plum and a little bit of an almost soda like smell. Over the aroma is of a cherry-lemonade-soda like smell and is very sweet but inviting.
Taste – while the nose is inviting the taste is not as pleasant. The flavor begins with a super sweet cherry lemonade flavor mixed with notes of plum and raisin. Along with these flavors are some lime and fruit punch like tastes. These flavors make a super sweet taste, which lasts throughout the flavor profile. With a touch of tart coming at the end of the taste, one is left with a super sweet fruit punch lemonade smoothie taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is super thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is super low. The feel matches the smoothie nature well, making of a dessert drink.
Overall – As with most of these drinks, way too sweet. Not really a beer, just a sugar sweetened smoothie with a touch of alcohol. No thanks.

 

Drekker BRAAAAAAAAins Cherry/Lemonade Double Fruit Smoothie Sour, 7.1% ABV. Pours thick and murky maroon with a one-finger pink head that left puree residue. Nose is cherry, lemon, plum, and vanilla. Taste follows, moderately sweet, slightly tart. The plum takes the edge off the lemon nicely, otherwise lemon would steal the show. Excellent thick and smooth mouthfeel with perfect carbonation. Overall outstanding.

Pours a murky cherry raspberry color with very little head or lacing. Smell is fresh cherries ,plum and lemons. Taste is cherries first with plum ,vanilla and lemon very fresh. taste is sweet more than tart cherries first, some lemons but not tart a fresh taste .
