Drekker There Will Be Prrrt Strawberry Milkshake Sour, 6.4% ABV. Pours thick, opaque, and medium-brown with a one-finger light-brown head that left puree residue. Nose is vanilla and strawberry. Taste is strawberry ice-cream, slightly sweet, faintly sour, light bitterness. Not real tasty. Excellent thick and smooth mouthfeel with light carbonation. Overall very good.

 

16iz can at share. Murky mauve pour, cap of fine pik foamy head. Fruity aroma, berries. Taste is creamy, strawberry and lactose with minor tartness. Creamy

Of all the styles out there, this is one I do not care for. I have tried several. This was given to me, and I am unsure what will come of it. I am using a tulip glass and serving it at 44 degrees. A hard pour did not create any head; therefore no lacing or dissipation rate. The color is light pink but mixed with cream. The appearance looks unappetizing.
Nosing the glass, I smell strawberries, cream, floral esters, oranges, a hint of floral, bay leaves, and a dank earthiness. I tried nosing the glass several times to see if I could detect the malts or anything else. I was left with the distinct aromas of strawberry

 

 

Drekker is well known for all the crazy fruited sours in their inventory. They are highly sought after and recently Chicago has seen an influx in their shipments. I picked up one of their ice cream fruited sours in There Wil Be..Prrrt. beer is milkshake to the extreme as their gimmicks on the side of the can state ice cream added. I don’t feel that the fruit flavor is fully defined but it does have a bit of flare in that it isn’t just vanilla throughout. Was a fun beer for sure.
