So, what the hell makes this a “Slushie Sour” as opposed to the more frequently used term “Smoothie Sour”? It apparently uses lemon and lime slushie mix in the brew, but I fail to see how that makes the beer a slushie itself. Rant over, let’s see what it’s all about
Pours an opaque purplish red with a finger of milky pink head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing, more of just a residue
Well, I’ll give it to Drekker that this definitely smells like a slushie as opposed to a smoothie. I’m picking up on aromas of tart cherry, peach, artificial lime, lemon sorbet, light coconut, and blackberry
Ok yeah, after tasting this, I can see the “slushie” tag applying here, especially on the swallow. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting black cherry, brtsugar, tart plum, vanilla, apricot, and pie crust. The swallow brings notes of black cherry, lemon lime slushie, apricot, vanilla ice cream, and blackberry
A medium full body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a a thick beer. Finishes dry for what it is and nicely tart
Well it’s not the best Sour I’ve ever had, but I think they achieved what they were going for, and I have to give it credit for that

Drekker Ice Ice Prrrty Slush Style Sour, 6.2% ABV. Pours thick, murky, and deep maroon with a half-finger of light red head that left puree residue. Nose is cherry, plum, coconut, and lemon. Taste follows with cherry up front, and the plum taking the edge off the lemon, quite sweet and nicely tart. Thick and smooth mouthfeel, with decent carbonation. Overall excellent to near-outstanding.
