Slang Du Jour - Carrot Cake pours a nuclear, radiation orange with a weird bubbly head. The aroma is rich carrot cake and vanilla. The flavor is carrot cake, with lots of vanilla frosting and a little spice. Good body and feel. Overall, very fun beer, with lots of carrot cake flavors; very impressive.

Poured moderately hard from a tall can after slowly rolling to mix in the sediment, forming a ton of super bubbly head on top of a brilliant orange body. The head takes a long time to fade, and the beer is totally opaque from the sediment. The smell is sweet carrot and maybe a little cream cheese. Taste is very tangy carrot and cream cheese, with a tiny bit of spices. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy with a mild bite of carbonation. A bit too tangy and carroty for my taste, but definitely worth trying if you like carrots. I'm not so sure it's close to actual carrot cake though.

Drekker Carrot Cake Slang Du Jour Sour à la Mode, 7.1% ABV. Pours blindingly bright orange, with a real messy orange head with big bubbles and floaties, leaving puree residue. Nose is real nice carrot, cream cheese, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla, and granola. Taste follows but is not quite as good as the nose, with carrot prevailing, moderately sweet, no notable tartness. Too veggie tasting for me. Decent thick and smooth mouthfeel. Overall excellent. Could have been a lot better with a smidge less carrot and/or more cream cheese.
