Pours hazy apricot orange with a thick white head that leaves tons of lacing. Aroma is faint citrus and a touch of vanilla. Flavor follows the nose, sweet up front and a touch of bitterness in the finish. Feel is smooth and lightly carbonated. Overall, a super NEIPA.

 

 

 

 

I'm a huge fan of this brewer. This one is an example of why I am a huge fan.

It pours yellow with some haze and nice fizz. The aroma is a skunky warning of the taste explosion that is a huge juicy IPA. The aftertaste is nicely bitter, not sweet. This brew is a triumph.

Highly recommended. I don't know why we get these here in Ohio, but I hope they keep sending them.

 

Appearance: Pours a mostly opaque (15% clarity) light and pale yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 5. (4.00)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of orange citrus, green grape, some pineapple. Mostly tropical. (4.00)

Flavor: Moderate flavors of orange citrus, lemon citrus, green with some sweet and green grape and pineapple. Mild vinous notes. Mildly green melon and grapes and bitterness mix on the finish. (4.25)

Feel: Medium-bodied, lower carbonation. Somewhat smooth and sweet with just enough bitterness. (4.25)

Compared to Drekker Neon Phenom 11/2022: Pours lighter. Stronger aromas. More tropical pineapple and peach. Less guava and grapefruit citrus rind.

Compared to Blackstack The Great Outdoors 11/2022: Pours darker, hazier. Milder aromas. More bitter peach. Less tropical mango and grapefruit.

Compared to Drekker Metaphase 12/2022: Pours slightly lighter, similar aromas. Less tropical pineapple flavors. More green melon and green grape flavors. Lesssticky with More juice and flavor. Winner: Master Manipulator.

Overall: Nice showcase of the Citra and Vic Secret here. Still enough tropical to balance the Vic Secret for green melon adn green grape flavors. Tropical pineapple to balance. Drinks well and more balanced than most Drekkers. Slightly above average for Drekker, and good for the style. Pleased with this one. (Rating: 4.18)

 

Pale hazy orange color, small white head, a bit of lacing, big whiff of grapefruit after popping the top, taste buds say yup, plus there's some melon. Smooth, creamy feel, not much carbonation. As these things go, not too bad.

 

 

16 oz can. Pours hazy straw yellow with a huge rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet ripe tropical fruit with a little resiny hop.

The flavor is sweet oaty bready malt with some fruit and a bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, lots of oat malt and bitterness with not much else for flavors.

Drekker Master Manipulator DNEIPA, 8.2% ABV. Pours hazy golden with a 1.6 finger off-white head that left persistent lacing. Nose is berry and citrus, taste follows plus spelt, moderately sweet, equally bitter. Decent mouthfeel with appropriate mouthfeel. Overall excellent.
