Drekker Make It Spooky DNEIPA, 8% ABV. Pours hazy light yellow with a two-finger off-white head that left nice lacing. Nose is light citrus. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, faintly sweet, moderately bitter. Decent mouthfeel, juicy. Overall excellent.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy yellow orange with a small white head. Smells of fresh fruit, inviting. Tastes of fresh tropical fruit with some citrus. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

16oz can. Poured out a hazy, golden orange color with a medium-sized, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sticky sheets of lace on the glass. It smelled of melon, grapefruit and other tropical fruits. Sweet melon, grapefruit, mango and caramel taste with sharp bitter bite.

Canned 10/3/22 (4 weeks ago)
Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (roughly 10% clarity) light and pale yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 5. (4.00)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of lemon citrus, passionfruit citrus, with some hints of sweet berry underneath. (3.75)
Flavor: Moderate flavors of grapefruit and lemon citrus rind, spice pineapple, some pine. Cantaloupe melon flesh underneath to give the body and sweetness. Relatively dry finish. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation, and finishes clean and somewhat astringent. (4.00)
Compared to Drekker Neon Phenom 10/2022: Pours a lighter color. Milder aromas. More lemon citrus, pineapple rind, pine, and astringency. Less sweet passionfruit citrus and green guava and melon. Less tropical. Dryer and cleaner.
12/2022: Pours a lighter color similar aromas. More candied lemon and pineapple. Less tart grapefruit, mango, grapes.
Overall: Lots of lemon, citrus and pineapple rind with some pine and astringency. A citrus rind astringency lingers. A dry finish with only hints of cantaloupe melon flesh. Overall dry, clean, and somewhat astringent. I appreciate that aspect, but the lemon and rind hop flavors just weren't quite my forte. (Rating: 3.94)
