Tonight I thought I would crack open a fruit sour. I was just given this beer and thought it was the way to start the night. I have two other beers that I will consume, maybe. Using a tulip glass, I served the beer at around 42 degrees. The pour created a frothy and creamy two-fingered head with above-average retention. The slow dissipation left no lacing on the glass. The color is akin to banana with a touch more amber hues. The clarity is hazy and I do not see carbonation bubbles. Overall the appearance is above average.
Nosing the glass, I smell bananas, oranges, vanilla, fruity sweetness, crackers, bread, and a hint of floral.
Sipping the beer, I taste oranges, bananas, floral, vanilla, fruity sweetness, lightly toasted malts, and bready.
The mouthfeel is creamy and thick. The body is medium-plus, has light carbonation, and a somewhat quick finish.
As I expected, another example of why Drekker makes great fruited sours. This beer did not disappoint with loads of oranges and banana flavors. I enjoy sipping this tasty treat.

Yellow in color with abundant haziness that won’t let you see through it. There’s a fingernail of white around the rim and covering most of the top. The aroma is of bananas, oranges, lactose, and vanilla. I’m tasting banana, orange, lactose, and vanilla. The mouth is exceptionally smooth.

 

 

 

Drekker Orange/Banana BRAAAAAAAAins Double Fruit Smoothie Sour, 6.8% ABV. Pours opaque light orange/yellow with a one-finger light-yellow head that left puree residue. Nose is orange, banana, and vanilla. Taste follows, moderately sweet, slightly tart, faintly bitter, with salt on the close. Nice smooth and creamy mouthfeel, overall outstanding. One of the better BRAAAAAAAAins variants.
