Purple prrrrt pours a hazy purpleish reddish color, with no head. The aroma is sweet grape soda. Flavor is very creamy grape, a hint of vanilla, and a hint of plum. Good feel. Overall very funky.

Canned 3/22/23
Are adjuncts in these “Smoothie Sours” going too far? Probably, but who cares? Pear, plum, and guava are quite typical, but using literal grape soda mix is a very odd choice. This odd choice is what drew me to this one when I saw it on Tavour. Let’s crack it open and see what it’s all about
Pours an opaque pinkish brown with 2 fingers of off white head that quickly fades to nothing and leaves no lacing. Kinda chunky and puke looking
Yeah, this is pretty much just grape soda beer in the nose as expected. I’m picking up on aromas of grape soda, overripe plum, lemon zest, pear skin, bready malt, and light orange juice
In taste it leans even more heavily into the sweet candy-like elements. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting orange juice, grape soda, doughy malt, grape lollipop, light guava, and lemon zest. The swallow brings notes of grape lollipop, orange candy, grape soda, pear skin, light guava, vanilla, and doughy malt
A medium full body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a slick smoothie-like beer. Finishes a tad sticky
This isn’t awful, but I also wouldn’t call it good. If it had a bit more tartness for balance it would be much better off

Drekker Purple Prrrt Grape Soda Sour, 6.3% ABV. Pours opaque pale red with no head and no lacing. Aroma is light fruit. Taste is grape, plum, and pear, slightly sweet, slightly tart. Decent enough mouthfeel, if a but undercarbonated. Overall very good.
