Chips, Dips, Chains, Whips is a collab with our pals from Homes Brewery in The Big Mitten! They sent us some choice Michigan-grown Copper hops, which we paired with our hand-selected Citra and Galaxy for a hella tasty Double IPA that we can’t wait for you all to try!

Drekker/Homes Collab Chips, Dips, Chains, Whips DNEIPA, 8% ABV. Pours hazy golden with a 5+ finger white head that left lots of foamy lacing. Nose is fruity and faint diacetyl. Taste is fruity and juicy (not juicy fruit), citrus, faintly sweet, moderately bitter. Dry mouthfeel, overall good.

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 5-12-23 into a snifter.
Look- Straw, visible particulate, very hazy, frothy white head, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Mandarin, peach, strawberry, floral, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Mandarin, strawberry, melon, slightly pithy, medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Full body, slightly below average carbonation, highly creamy, low bitterness, mildly mouth warming, soft, no astringency, mildly dry finish.
Overall- Appearance was straw in color with visible particulate and above average head retention and lacing. Bouquet was mandarin, peach and strawberry with floral notes of medium strength. Flavor was also medium in strength and very pleasant, if it had been more vibrant this beer would have been next level. Feel was outstanding with a full body for the style and a high amount of creaminess. Overall this beer provided a fantastic drinking experience. With a pleasant mix of aromatics and flavors, only improvement needed would be to amp up the intensity both.

No canning date
Appearance: Pours a nearly completely cloudy (10% clarity) medium golden-orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange citrus, green papaya, kiwi, green melon, berries with a tropical and slightly plastic note to the aroma. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of orange citrus, green guava, kiwi, tropical melon. Tropical with a slight green guava and starfruit and melon flavor. A green bite off the end.
Feel: Medium to heavier body, strong carbonation, finishes sweet and creamy but with a slight bite that fades as it warms.
Compared to Drekker Juiceler 6/2023: Pours darker, hazier, similar head. Milder aromas. More green starfruit, kiwi, melon. Less juicy orange, overripe pineapple and coconut. More tropical and green. Less juicy and sweet.
Overall: Another nice one for Drekker. No canning date here for whatever reason, but I assume I found it fresh. Has Citra, Galaxy plus the addition of Copper from Michigan to give it more tropical notes. Very tropical, leaning green Asian-Pacific fruit. The classic Drekker yeast that gives it a bite. Pretty darn good and I'd say slightly above average for Drekker. (Rating: 4.03)

I get Drekker brews whenever I can, and my dealer knows I want them. The fruity ones are best of breed. The (always) hazy IPA's also are also among the best anywhere.
This one pours cloudy yellow, thick and opaque. The aroma is sweet and skunky. The taste is juicy and tasty, as you expect from the style and brewer. It finishes with a goldilocks mouthfeel of not too thin, not too thick.
Highly recommended. Get yourself some, if you can.

Can. White head. Hazy orange gold.
Melon, papaya, mango. Floral and grassy. Some bitterness. Some abv showing. Nothing special for a drekker, but solid per usual.
