Hex Marks the spot is brewed with a bunch of wheat and oats and hopped with just the right amount of Galaxy & Strata for some insanely dank & tropical notes of bubble gum, grapefruit, orange, and pinapple!

A - Hazy, pale yellow-orange body, bright white head, dense bubble lacing.

S - Pungent nose of stone fruit and citrus, with a bit of pith and zest over a strong juice core.

T - Follows the nose, with bright fruit notes of peach, pineapple, orange and grapefruit. Some soft sweetness through the middle, and pith notes of bitterness over ongoing fruit highlights that trail off.

M - Moderate weight, decent carbonation, clean finish, with just a bit of lingering resin notes on the tongue.

O - A rock solid IPA that I definitely enjoy. Not as soft and friendly as the typical NEIPA, but definitely juicy. Tasty.

Pours a hazy golden straw with a finger of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit. Taste follows nose.

Robust for a NEIPA, this is a tasty brew!!! Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer features the standard NEIPA hazy, straw yellow color and medium sized foamy white head. Head retention is excellent and there are lots of foamy rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste include lots of grapefruit and some tropical fruit, a bit of "dankness" and (for a NEIPA) fairly strong bitterness. Mouthfeel is crisp and moderately bitter but the mildly sweet tropical fruitiness and probably the oats, make it go down smoothly. Nice balance between hops and malt. i had it with take out Chinese food and it stood up to the hot and sour soup very well.

Another “HazyLite”; barely opaque with a thin watery body. Tasty tropical fruit flavors from the Galaxy and Strata hops, although kinda mild, muted and watered down. Overall, a meh plus beer not worth the price.

Drekker Hex Marks The Spot NEIPA, 6.5% ABV. Pours hazy pale yellow with a two-finger white head that left great lacing that persisted. Nose is citrus. Taste is slight citrus, not much sweetness, light bitterness. Decent juicy mouthfeel, dry on the close. Overall very good.

Canned 6/2/23 (1 month ago)

Appearance: Pours a mildly hazy (40% clarity) medium to light pale yellow color with a massive white head. SRM of 5-6. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange citrus, bubblegum, mango skins, some hints of pineapple and coconut. (4.00)

Flavor: Strong flavors of orange citrus, bubblegum, tropical berries. Lots of blueberry with some pensive sweet mango underneath. Juicy and tropical. (4.00)

Feel: Medium body carbonation to match. Smooth and creamy mouth feel. (4.25)

Compared to BlackStack Local Dream Universe 7/20023: Pours similar, larger head. Stronger aromas. More mango skin, bubblegum, blueberries. Less mango flesh and tropical pineapple/melon. Heavier and smoother.

Compared to Hop Butcher Little Pizza Table 12/24: Pours lighter, milder aromas. More citrus, pineapple, guava. Less tropical melon, berry flower.

Overall: Nice Galaxy and Strata flavors. Getting blueberry bubblegum, cotton candy, and mango flesh flavors. It also has a nice oat malt body for a smooth mouthfeel. Very smooth. Probably average for Drekker. (Rating: 4.03)
