We did a little focus group with our pals at Resident Culture and threw around a bunch of ideas for a new beer, and we agreed on a lot of things;
• It should be a nod to a Rum Runner cocktail
• A good steering wheel that doesn’t fly off while you’re driving
• Packed with pineapple, banana, blackberry, key lime, cherry, coconut
• A good steering wheel doesn’t fly off your hand while you’re driving
• Sporty look and it’s not too small
• A GRRREEAAT steering wheel that doesn’t whiff out of the window while you’re driving
We think it’s a killer beer and we’re gonna stand by it. THIS BEER IS EVERYTHING!!!

16oz can. Bottom date stamp is 'CANNED ON 08/24/23'.
Murky with bottom floating clumps. Color is close to pomegranate. The head is pomegranate colored and persistent.
Aroma is kept in the body, with a head smell of fruity citrus and tropical. Thick leftovers on the glass left behind.
Taste is full of tropical and citrus, along with a pop of cherry and coconut.
Thick mouthfeel. Sweet with some sour notes. Very good carbonation.
Hides the lactose, and allows sweet/tart expressions of citrus and tropical fruit.

Did I buy this beer from Tavour just because it’s a quote from I Think You Should Leave? You’re damn right I did. In all seriousness, this sounds like a fun one, a Smoothie Sour take on a rum runner. The name is just an extra fun detail. Let’s crack it open and find out what it’s all about
Pours an opaque orange pink with 2 fingers of dense brownish orange head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is sweet for sure but nicely balanced by the tarter notes. I’m picking up on aromas of banana cream, jammy blackberry, lime juice, graham cracker, maraschino cherry, vanilla, doughy malt, and light coconut
The flavors clash just a little bit in taste, but not in a way that really ruins it. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting overripe banana, pineapple juice, toasted coconut, graham cracker, line zest, cherry cordial, tart blackberry, and light vanilla. The swallow brings notes of toasted coconut, pineapple juice, tart blackberry, maraschino cherry, graham cracker, lime zest, vanilla, and light banana
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes surprisingly dry and refreshing
This one is way better than I was anticipating. Definitely rum runner inspired but still beer forward

Drekker/Resident Culture collab You Have No Good Car Ideas Rum Runner Style Fruited Sour, 7.5% ABV. Pours thick and opaque red, with a two-finger pink head that left puree residue. Aroma is pineapple, banana, lime and cherry. Taste is cherry and pineapple up front, banana in the middle, and blackberry on the close. Coconut is there too, smoothing things out. Excellent thick and creamy mouthfeel with adequate carbonation. Overall outstanding.
