From The Feet Up is brewed with a bunch of oats for a soft, pillowy body and hopped with Strata, Strata, and more Strata. We’re going all in on Strata for this one and it’s a tasty, tasty deep dive into some magically dank strawberry & tropical fruit flavor and aroma that we just can’t get enough of.

Drekker From The Feet Up DNEIPA, 8% ABV. Pours hazy golden with a two-finger white head that left great lacing. Aroma is berry and tropical fruit. Taste is rind and berries, moderately sweet, slightly bitter. Decent mouthfeel, a bit dry. Overall excellentish.

Canned 8/29/23 (1 month ago)
Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy (40% clarity) medium golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. Visible sediment floating in the glass. (3.75)
Aroma: Strong aromas of grapefruit citrus, tropical pineapple, some floral lemon citrus. And some hints of mango underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of grapefruit citrus zest upfront. This soon develops into a mango and purple grape sweetness underneath. Finishes slightly sweet. (4.25)
Feel: Medium heavier body, average carbonation. Smooth, creamy, slightly sweet. (4.00)
Compared to Phase 3 DDH Adhara 10/2023: Pours clearer, similar head. Similar aromas. More grapefruit and mango flavors. Less citrus, pineapple, tropical notes.
Compared to Drekker Super Freak 10/2023: Pours lighter, clearer, similar head. More tart citrus and mango. Less orange citrus, pineapple, and pine. More smooth and creamy.
Overall: A NEIPA with all Strata. I've seen breweries like BlackStack try this in the past and usually doesn't turn out that well. This one was surprisingly good. Enough oats and malt to cut some of that Strata astringency for a very smooth and flavorful beer. For whatever reason I think Strata seems to drink better at higher ABV like this DIPA. (Rating: 4.14)
