9th anniversary stout
Bottle, thick oily black color. Tan head.
I don’t know the barrels work with this beer or maybe it’s just apple brandy without the bourbon barrel to balance things out. Apple brandy, molasses, dark fruits, raisins, figs, fudge, and wet oak. Not picking up a ton on the marshmallow or cinnamon as the barrels dominate. It’s not bad, just not my favorite.
