Aroma is citrus/fruit punch and tropical/slightly funky hops. The flavor is fruit/fruit punch, biscuit malts and a big citrus/tropical hop/mildly sweet finish.

Can dated 1/7/25
Pours a yellowish-orange, fresh-squeezed OJ appearance with two fingers of creamy head and streaks of lacing. Smells of grapefruit, oranges, pine, and slight grassyness. Taste is a juice bomb with heavy grapefuit and orange notes but balanced with piney bitterness. Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, somewhat prickly, and full-bodied. Finish continues with the grapefuit experience and adds citrus rind.

Drekker Goodbye Stranger DNEIPA, 8.1% ABV. Pours hazy golden with a nice 4-finger white head that left lots of foamy lacing. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, and faint acetyl. Taste is citrus and tropical fruit, moderately bitter, slightly sweet. Decent enough mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Compared to Drekker Metaphase 1/25: Pours similar, milder head. More lime, guava, green grape, and plum. Less grapefruit, vinous grape, berry flower.
Compared to Drekker Synaptic Cleft 2/25: Pours similar, milder head. Milder aromas. Less peach, strawberry, tangerine. More green fruit, citrus, pine. Winner: Goodbye Stranger
to Drekker King Of The Thing 3/25: Pours similar, milder head. More apricot, plum, tropical cherry and green/lime melon. Less orange citrus, pineapple, mango. More tropical, less bright. Winner King Of The Thing
Overall: Goodbye Stranger, a new release. Some standard Citra and Galaxy plus CTZ and Rakau to give it some complexity. The Rakau gives this a green guava, berry, and plum flavor. Citrusy, but also complex tropical flavors. Great balance. Again, top notch from Drekker. (Rating: 4.10)

Beer is excellent; great body and carbonation, hops up front and some heat from the alcohol on the finish, tropical fruits. Balanced and delicious.

Grabbed a can at Outlet Liquors. Excellent NEIPA that reminds of the best from Other Half. Gorgeous plumy white head on a soft hazy yellow body. Perfectly attractive… no muddies, bright and looking fresh! Rich notes malt and hops… Citra, Galaxy, Rakau and CTZ. Classic 2 row and house yeast with loads of flaked oats and wheat.
Super smooth, fragrant and delicious.
I’ve liked the little I’ve had from Drekker, but sets a new bar. These guys can cook!
