Poured from a can into a tulip. Pours hazy yellow orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and tropical fruit. Tastes of citrus fruit with tropical fruit notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Drekker Asteroid Joyride DNEIPA, 8% ABV. Pours hazy dirty-orange, with a two-finger white head that left decent lacing. Aroma is piney up front, then orange, pineapple, and grapefruit. Taste is primarily pine and grapefruit but fades into some nice berry, slightly sweet, moderately bitter. Decent juicy mouthfeel. Overall excellent.

Canned 1/30/24 (2 weeks ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy, milky, creamy yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.25)
Aroma: Strong aromas of grapefruit citrus, orange, passionfruit, some green guava. Some citrus round, and floral notes linger. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of bright, orange, grapefruit, lemon. There’s passionfruit and green guava underneath with some floral notes. Finishes clean. (4.25)
Feel: Medium body, strong, carbonation, finishes, juicy, bright and clean. (4.25)
Compared to Definitive Brewing Float IPA 2/2024: Pours similar. Stronger aromas. More lemon, passionfruit, guava notes. Less resinous tangerine, lemon, pine.
Compared to Hop Butcher Mirror Ball 2/2024: Pours darker, similar head. Milder aromas. Less sweet tropical notes. More citrus, pineapple, and guava. Less flavor overall. Winner: Hop Butcher
Overall: Nice name and hop combination. I get a lot of tropical pineapple, guava, and lemon citrus notes. Bright, juicy, and clean. This is really good. I think Drekker has upped their game recently in IPAs. I used to think they all tasted the same and felt astringent, but this has great flavors and drinks smooth. Fantastic IPA here. (Rating: 4.19)
