A little while back our pals from Falling Knife Brewing made the trip up from Minneapolis to hang out, eat some delicious food, and brew up a killer double IPA. By those standards the trip was a smashing success. Not only did we eat waaay too much delicious food and share a bunch of laughs, we brewed Live, Laugh, Lurk, a super tasty double IPA hopped with Nectaron & Citra, and then Nectaron Cryo & Citra Cryo. It’s just bursting with notes of peach, mango, & kiwi and we just know you’re gonna dig it as much as we do!

Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a light orange hue and is murky. Suspended chunks are visible. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves nice lacing.
Melon and kiwi smell with light citrus
Kiwi, melon, and grapefruit flavor. Grapefruit lingers a bit.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
Nice beer

Drekker/Falling Knife Collab Live Laugh Lurk DNEIPA, 8% ABV. Pours hazy pale orange with a three-finger white head that left great lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit. Taste is citrus, tropical fruit, and zest. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Appearance: Pours a completely cloudy (5-10% clarity) medium to bright orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 8. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, lemon citrus, some dank, herbal melon, and peach notes. (3.75)
Flavor: Strong favors of lemon citrus, grapefruit, some dank, herbal notes, mixed with tropical melon and pineapple. (4.00)
Feel: Medium body, appropriate carbonation, finishes somewhat dank, and herbal. (4.00)
Compared to Drekker Blacklight Syndicate 3/2024: Pours darker, similar head. Stronger aromas. Less tropical lemon, pineapple, peach. More dank orange, cantaloupe melon, and herbs. More dank, herbal and astringent.
Overall: Citra and Nectaron. Nice combo. Comes across more dank than I'd expect. Tames out a bit as it warms a bit. As it warms it grows one me. (Rating: 3.94)
