Drekker Vampirate NEIPA, 6.4% ABV. Pours hazy golden, with a 2+ finger off-white head that left some lacing. Nose is pine and light citrus, taste follows, faintly sweet, moderately bitter. Decent dry mouthfeel with good carbonation. Overall excellentish.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of bright citrus and tropical fruit. Tastes of bright citrus and tropical fruit, nice and creamy. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Canned 4/23/24 (2 weeks ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (10% clarity) medium golden-orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong and dank aromas of orange, green herbs, dank herbs, some melon underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of dankness upfront. After it fades lends to some sweet orange, OJ, and grapefruit. Some green melon evolves underneath. Mildly sweet. Dankness lingers. (4.00)
Feel: Lighter to medium bodied, appropriate carbonation. Finishes clean, smooth, with a lingering dankness. (4.00)
Overall: This is a NEIPA in collab with Weldwerks in Colorado. Has some resinous and lots of dankness here. The dankness coming right out of the glass. It tames a bit as it sets. Evolves into more orange, some stonefruit, and smooth green melon, while keeping the lingering dankness. The flavors improve a bit as the dankness fades. I'm not a big fan of the herbal and dank NEIPAs as sometimes those flavors fit better in the West-Coast profile. Fortunately for this one it fades quickly and actually a pretty nice IPA once the dankness fades. (Rating: 3.88)
