We teamed up with the mythical creatures of Elm Creek Brewing for this legendary IPA we’ve christened Boil ‘em Mash ‘em Stick ‘em in a Stew. The combination of Nelson Sauvin, Nelson Cryo, Riwaka, and Motueka hops yields a perfect blend of funky white grape, orange, and apricot flavors, with a hint of bubble gum.

Drekker/Elm Creek collab Boil 'em Mash 'em Stick 'em In A Stew DNEIPA, 6% ABV. Pours hazy pale-yellow with a 4+ finger white head that left some lacing. Aroma is light citrus, grapefruit specifically. Taste follows, juicy citrus, again grapefruit, moderately bitter. Decent dry mouthfeel with extra-adequate carbonation. Overall excellent.

Canned 6/18/24 (3 weeks ago)

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity) medium orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, grapefruit, white, grapes, some mango rind. (3.75)

Flavor: Strong flavors of grapefruit rind, white, grapes, some hints of berries, peach, mango underneath. Slightly dank pine. Finishes clean. (4.00)

Feel: Lighter-bodied, strong, carbonation, finishes, smooth, clean, dry. (4.00)

Compared to BlackStack Lady Luck 7/24: Pours similar, larger head. Milder aromas. More grapefruit and mango rind. Less tropical pineapple and juicy orange. More dank pine and rind. Dryer and cleaner.

Compared to Drekker Die To Ride 7/24: Pours lighter, similar aromas. Less orange, coconut, pineapple, lychee, melon, and berries. More grapefruit and vinous notes. Drier.

Overall: Nelson, Riwaka, Motueka. Expecting some interesting flavors here. Lots of grapefruit, grapes, some dank pine. Drinks clean and dry. It's milder and dry, but good New Zealand flavors. (Rating: 3.94+)
